I ship features end to end — the screen someone clicks, the API behind it, and the queue that picks the work up afterwards.
Five and a half years of it now, across React and Node.js. On Styli that means the seller-facing React front end and the TypeScript microservices under it; earlier, full-stack delivery on Angular and Node for a logistics platform and a B2B marketplace. Backend is where I go deepest — Dream11's testing infrastructure, Wasalt's gRPC services — but I have never much liked handing a feature over halfway.
I like the constraint-shaped problems best. Hold memory flat regardless of file size. Keep a UI responsive while it parses a hundred thousand rows. Decouple notification volume from request latency. Get a test suite honest enough that CI can actually block a release. Those have a right answer you can argue for, and owning both ends usually means you can put the fix where it actually belongs.
Away from the keyboard
In 2024 I took six months out and started Clean Up Mountains, a community initiative on waste management and civic awareness in Himalayan towns. It grew to 150+ active members through nothing but word of mouth, ran cleanup drives every two weeks, and I raised and managed the donations that kept it going after the first few.
I grew up around those hills — I did my B.Sc. in Shimla before the MCA at Panjab University — so the rubbish problem was not abstract. Running it taught me things a backlog never did: how much of any operation is logistics, and how far a small group of people will go if you make it easy for them to show up.
Open source
I contribute upstream where I can. Twelve merged pull requests to testing-nestjs, the community's reference repository for testing NestJS applications — test cases and type-safety work across its GraphQL, Prisma, Sequelize and MongoDB examples. Plus type definitions in DefinitelyTyped. I have published a couple of VS Code extensions and an npm package for the shared layer across Node microservices, and I write occasionally about TypeScript and Node internals.
Right now
September 2026 — Building the seller platform at Styli end to end — Node.js services and the React front end — and reading enough Go to have opinions about it. Open to new roles.
I'm looking for roles where the hard part is throughput, correctness or scale rather than another CRUD layer. I own features from UI through API to event pipeline — React and Next.js, Node.js and TypeScript. Remote (Preferred), or Pan India
